Introduction to the Four Keys of Mindfulness
Introduction to the Four Keys of Mindfulness
Self-Study course Online
One hour a week, for 4 weeks, with Q&A session with Dr. Mounzer
As defined by John Bruna, the Founder of the Mindful Life Program (MLP): “Mindfulness is much more than learning to be present in the moment. It is the ability to be present with clarity and discernment, to be able to experience life consciously and respond with wisdom.
One of the biggest obstacles to finding inner peace and developing our highest potential is our untrained mind. Unless we consciously train our mind and develop the ability to direct it where we would like and to attend to what we choose to attend to, it will endlessly drag us from one thought to another.
The mind continuously produces thoughts and images, that is why some people call it the Monkey Mind. Training our attention with mindfulness meditation by focusing on the breath, is a great way to train the mind and tame the monkey.”
